Rev. Scott L. Blevins has been devoted to God throughout his life. His journey of faith began at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Allen Park, where he was both baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran tradition. Following a deep calling to ministry, Rev. Blevins graduated from the Michigan District–LCMS Deacon Program in 2015. He was installed as Deacon at Salem National Lutheran Church in Westland Michigan in October of 2015. After serving two years, he and his wife, Theresa, transferred to the family of St. Paul’s New Boston Michigan in 2017. Serving as Deacon until 2019.

Since that time, he has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the spiritual care of the church and its members. In September 2020, Rev. Blevins completed the requirements to become a Specific Ministry Pastor and received a call to serve at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. His ordination and installation were celebrated on January 17, 2021, where he served as pastor until May 3, 2026. A joyful and significant milestone in his ministry.

Rev. Scott L. Blevins considers it a true blessing to be part of the LCMS family. He looks forward to serving the Church and the congregation of Good Shepherd in Lowell Michigan with faith, love, and dedication.
